5 STEP PROCESS

Greenhouse Design believes in a simplified, 5 step process for clients, to maximize the ease and minimize the stress of any project.  Our process starts from the estimation to the build - we take care in knowing that our clients understand the process and workflow of their project with full transparency.

ESTIMATION

GH Design starts our process by offering a 1-hour complimentary consultation to discuss your design needs, view the space with you, and discuss overall goals and target budget for your project.  This consultation also serves as your opportunity to get to know us, our aesthetic, procedures and policies with you to determine if we are a good fit for your project.  After our initial consultation,  you will receive a proposal based on the scope of work discussed, along with a questionnaire to help us understand your family life, personal style and preferences, and design aesthetics.  Upon agreement, a signed design contract and retainer payment are required to kickstart your project.

2

DESIGN

Once your contract is completed, we will schedule a site visit to obtain measurements, photographs, and begin the creative process of design ideation and planning for your project based on goals discussed.  From this point, we will design your space and create floorpans, elevations, and renders as agreed upon with all of the design schematics required.   We will also work with Architects, Engineers and Contractors during this phase as needed to incorporate all design elements as needed.   The outcome of this phase is a design schematic per room space including preliminary material selections (furniture, tile, paint palette, color schematics, wallpaper, plumbing fixtures, fabrics, etc.) on a private virtual design board for you to access and work with us directly.   Meetings with clients occur heavily during this phase to obtain your review and approval on all designs proposed.

MATERIAL SELECTION & SOURCING

Our relationship with industry and local vendors allows for us to source the most beautiful materials for your projects. Meetings with clients occur heavily during this phase to work through any and all ideas, preferences, and areas in the project.   Whether it is furniture, tiles, plumbing fixtures, hardware, accessories, decor, fabrics, wallpapers, flooring - and more - we will curate a design palette for you based off of these resources and shop with you (virtually or in person) as needed during this phase to finalize your material selections.  This part of our phase is heavy with decision making and commitments, needed from the client, in order to bring your project to life as well as a running budget and project management tracking templates for you to access and utilize as needed.

4

ORDERING & EXPEDITING

Upon final approval of material selections in phase III, clients receive quotes and pricing for any/all materials or products chosen.   This includes orders from third party vendors including welders, window treatments, landscaping, etc.   You will receive a formal proposal for all materials, once this is approved and all payments are received, we secure and order materials.   Greenhouse Design will then track, expedite, and coordinate delivery as needed for any/all materials.  We check in with vendors on a weekly basis to ensure proper scheduling and installation which also directly connects to any building scheduling.

4

BUILD & INSTALLATION

All materials have been ordered, are on site, or prepared for delivery - all coordinated by Greenhouse Design for efficiency.   Construction begins, and as the space is prepared, we work continue working closely with contractors, fabricators, and installers to coordinate schedules, installations, and any details required for schedules. We will provide all specification packages, installation documents, and other key information to the Contractor as needed with chosen materials.   Once all deliveries have been completed, we will invoice you for any final balances due on open proposals for materials.   The project will be built accordingly and your dream space will come to life.
