As I sit here sick on this rained in day, watching the Golden Globes, I can’t help but think a few things but especially about how much I’ve always liked Mandy Moore. I think she is just shining tonight! Her gown is gorgeous and she looks mesmerizing. I have always thought she had this great, classic girl-next-door look about her but since watching her new her hit show, This is Us, I’ve found an all new appreciation for her. The stylists and hair/makeup people have done pure justice in her character and I LOVE her 70’s style and look throughout the series.
This hat – just obsessed
.
Can I please just have this hair and blouse?! Maybe Milo too.
She reminds me of my mom when I was very young in the post-70’s era (did that just age me?!) when she would wear layered hairstyles and chunky sweaters or striped blouses such as this one above. I find so much inspiration from fashion and styling in general. I look at this blouse and see a whole new color palette forming in my mind for the next room. Love it all.
I’m in love with this hair as well – those bangs and layers. Yes! Peasant blouse? Yes! I think I must be trapped in the wrong era because I’d do anything to live back in this one. With mustard yellows, aqua blues, and shades of forest green abound – what’s not to love! I think I will need to use this show and Mandy Moore as a new muse and inspiration for some design palettes in my life.
