It must be Spring, because it’s coming up citrus and yellow in my world the last few days. Vibrant pops of yellows met me everywhere the last 72 hours and even in my own kitchen at one point. I’m happy to report I met most of my weekend goals, per my list on Friday, but I am still having “design block” for my master bedroom redo. This is strange for me as usually I have so many ideas I can’t decide but when it is coming to this tiny little space, I’m struggling to find the inspiration. Partially because the Mr. and I have distinctly different taste and also because I secretly want a feminine retreat somewhere in my house full of boys…so I’ve got to find a happy middle ground.

Over the weekend of mom duties, I set out to find some inspiration and landed at one of my most favorite place, the library. I have always LOVED the library. The feel, energy, smell and just being so quiet. Music to my ears in a tiny house with very loud entities around me constantly. Even growing up I found so much solitude in the library, maybe I’m part-hermit crab, but I could hide in one of those window nooks for hours and disappear into my studies or books.

The library near my house, and generally in the Bay Area, is re-designed and so amazing I can indefinitely sit in it all day with my son. I found so much design inspiration in it and fell in love with the window-scape design. So many amazing details and color inspo for those who like bright hues of yellow, green, or blues. And these windows….oh myyyyyyy

I am still hunting down inspiration for the Camp Cole room I’m developing and loved these paper globe lights. I think these are so cute for kids but I also have an aversion to anything that hangs, is geometric, or globe inspired. I thought these were super cute, and probably cost effective, for a children’s space – it just makes sense.

The hunt for master bedroom inspiration continues but at least there is some spring fresh inspiration out there currently!
