Bedrooms: Contemporary & Clean Designs

Have you ever walked into a space and just felt like you stepped out of the shower and everything felt clean and fresh? That’s why I love about neutral space design. It just feels fresh. I worked on some of these contemporary spaces this past year and wanted to share some bedroom designs.

As you know, I’m still a huge palm print fan and anything desert. So when I had the opportunity to pull together this room, I went bananas. I also was convinced using a touch of millennial pink would be amazing with the accent details – and we loved the color combo in the end.

Another great way to add color is using your floor. Keep all the furnishings fairly neutral, light, and bright to pull it off. This bed frame is from Anthropologie and was a great source of color inspiration using the floral print in the fabric.

There is nothing better than a nice, clean palette where you want to rest your body and sleep. Your bedroom or sleep space is one of the most important areas in your life. The more serene, calm and peaceful you can make it the better – this is, after all, where you rejuvenate yourself nightly. Unless you have small children of course, then there is no rest. Period.
